Big News

If you follow me on instagram, you might have already seen the news… but since it’s going to be such a big part of the blog in the coming months I figured it’s only appropriate to share it here as well…

We’re homeowners!  J and I are set to close escrow in the next couple of days on our first piece of property and we couldn’t be more thankful or thrilled.  It made more sense for us to invest in property right now than to continue to rent, as we know we will be in Orange County for the foreseeable future.

The condo has good “bones” (Jesse hates that term, but it’s the best I know to describe it!) It has crown molding, vaulted ceilings, granite kitchen countertops, and brass fixtures throughout just to name a few.  Even though it’s got a lot of good qualities, there’s a lot of little fixes to be done and we need to make it our own.

First up on my to-do list is paint, and some other not-so interesting things like buying appliances.  Be sure to expect a lot more home decor & DIY posts around these parts, (and of course the usual fashion posts!).  I’ll be sure to keep you all posted here, but make sure you follow along on instagram as well!

      Thanks Beth! 🙂 I started the blog doing design & DIY posts but once I finished my apartment I ran out of things to decorate! I'm excited to have a blank canvas again!
