If I’m ever feeling in a fashion “funk”, I always resort to a classic all-black outfit. I love this crochet-lace style blouse because it’s one that can take you from fall to spring and can be styled so many ways. For this look I wanted to resort to the no-fail leather & lace combo, so I paired it with these high waisted faux leather shorts. Faux leather shorts can be super tricky because if the material is not right they can be really unflattering. These are made of a thicker material which gives it structure, but the tie waist gives them some shape, making them more flattering than any I’ve tried.
In other news, I’m having a tough time getting full-speed ahead after a nice little holiday break. Is anyone else feeling that way? I have so much motivation and so many ideas but am sluggish to start (the rain here isn’t helping). Nevertheless, every day is a new day and every week is a new week so I’m feeling optimistic either way!
