These trousers might look familiar to you… remember this post? I normally wouldn’t share a statement piece like this in two blog posts so close together, but I felt that the two outfits were very different and would be worn on very different occasions. The last time I styled these trousers the outfit was a lot more modest, and something I might wear to a more business-type event, or dinner with the family. This outfit is a little more Saturday brunch with the girls/vacation type of vibes.
Either way, I love how versatile they are and really wanted to share that with you guys. Although bloggers have a tendency to always share a new head-to-toe outfit every post, it’s just not realistic (unless you are a blogger) to never wear the same thing twice. I think it’s important to see the various ways you can style a piece so that you know it’s a purchase that will get good use.

I’ve been loving pops of bright red, and am finding excuses to add them to any outfit. These mules were a great purchase because they take any monochromatic or simple outfit to the next level. (And they’re super affordable!)
