Lately I’ve been loving a “third piece” to my outfit such as a vest or a jacket — not only for the added warmth but also because I think it can make an outfit look more complete. I absolutely love a faux leather vest for an outfit when you want a touch of “toughness” without a full faux leather jacket. It’s one of those pieces that can pair well with anything — a dress, a skirt and blouse, or a more traditional take of jeans and a striped top as I’ve shown above.
I love the way the mock neck turtleneck would peek out of the top of the vest, and the cropped jeans would show just enough of the booties. I’ve also had my eye on that gorgeous Stella McCartney number for some time — I love how structured it is compared to her more traditional bag styles!
