DIY Double Wrap Necklace — Why you shouldn’t throw away/give away old jewelry.

So I had this old long gold chain necklace that broke not too long ago, and I was about ready to throw it in the trash when I thought…what am I doing? I could totally use this for something!

I decided to make it into a double wrap statement necklace.
You will need:
Old gold chain from necklace or just a gold chain from a hardware or hobby store.
Jewelry pliers.
Ring and clasp.

First fold the gold chain in half, then add a ring with the pliers to the open side, joining the two strands of chains together.

Mine had a little bit of extra chain, so that it can be re-sizeable.

Then add another ring and clasp to the side that is not open.

And then finally, wear your creation in Las Vegas with some of your favorite friends. Like my dress? Bebe clearance rack…$40. Bebe usually ALWAYS has a good clearance rack because they get new dress styles in almost every month.

So anyways that necklace was way, way too easy. Makes me want to get a bunch of chains from a hardware store and see what kind of creations I can come up with…what do you think?

xoxo,

Hannah
