Easy 4-Ingredient Green Smoothie Recipe

In my opinion, there is no better way to start your day than with a green smoothie.  I know many of us struggle to get in the amount of greens our bodies crave and need on a daily basis.  Personally, I hate salads.  Unless they are covered in a delicious dressing with various toppings that take away from the taste of plain lettuce.  I do love most other green vegetables, but find it hard to fit them into daily meals when I’m on the go.

My solution is to pack them into a smoothie and drink them first thing in the morning.  That way, I don’t have to be worrying about how many greens I’m eating throughout the day.  I’ve tried many green smoothie recipes (some not so delicious), and this is by far my favorite for the taste, and the simplicity of it.  (I can’t stand buying a bunch of ingredients at the store for them to go bad before I can finish them).

Here’s what you’ll need…

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (I use this brand because it is carrageenan free which is much better for you… look it up and you’ll see what I mean!)
  • 1 ripe banana (ripe meaning starting to get spotty.)
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mangos
  • 1 cup spinach

Blend it all up in a blender starting with the almond milk, spinach, banana, and last with the frozen mangos on top (this is the easiest and quickest way to blend them all together).
