Off The Shoulder

It’s clear the off-the-shoulder trend isn’t going anywhere anytime soon and I’m not mad about it! It’s by far my favorite type of top to throw on for any occasion.

My girlfriends and I had a funny conversation in our group text this morning about off-the-shoulder tops. One of my friends said she loves the way they look but is always annoyed by how the ride up her shoulders and she’s constantly pulling them back down all day, so therefore she’s against them at this point. {And yes, these are the issues we concern ourselves with on a daily basis – don’t judge!}

I told her that I definitely have tops that do that, but I have others that don’t! This is one of those tops that don’t. It’s got elastic only on the shoulder portion, so it sits perfectly on the shoulders and I don’t have a problem with it riding up. I can’t get enough of the bubble sleeves which are such a fun 70’s inspired touch.

I’ve also found myself obsessing over mule heels. Is anyone else doing the same? I find them to be so comfortable to slide on and walk in, and the look is so simple and chic. I couldn’t resist these from Public Desire — the embroidered heel was just singing to my soul. I’m definitely on the hunt for a few more pairs to add to my spring wardrobe.
