I can’t believe Danielle and I are on our 7th SoCal Style Guide!  I hope you guys have gained some inspiration from these – I know I look forward to seeing how D styles her pieces each time and it always gives me a lightbulb of a different way to style mine.  Be sure to check out versions 1-6 here!
This week we are partnering with Lulu*s which I’m thrilled about.  I own quite a few Lulu*s pieces and honestly whenever anyone asks me where to find an affordable dress or cute summer clothes, I direct them to Lulu*s because I know they will find something amazing.  Danielle and I loved the unique cut of this dress and we both have a thing for prints.
I chose to put my hair in a bun to show off the top of the dress better, and it looks like D and I were on the same page with strappy black sandals.  I definitely see this dress paired with a colored heel as well, maybe something coral like the shade of my lips?
The bag is super fun because it’s actually reversible!  The inside is a really pretty oyster color that would match with almost anything.  I love this bag because it’s durable, yet it’s vegan leather so I could easily use it as a beach bag without worrying about it getting ruined.  I also look forward to using it as a travel bag (I would put a smaller bag inside and use this on the plane to store my mounds of snacks & magazines), and as a farmer’s market bag because you could fit a lot of fruit, veggies & flowers in here.  Make sure you check out Danielle’s version on her blog, as her bag is different colors than mine!
Let me know if you guys have any suggestions on trends you’d like to see us try out on SoCal Style Guide in the comments below, and as always thanks for reading!
