Stripes & Ruffles

Off-the-shoulder tops are extremely in style at the moment, and it’s easy to see why! I think they show just the right amount of skin to make them feel a little bit sexy, while still staying covered up. They pair well with jeans, high-waisted shorts and skirts so there’s no reason you shouldn’t have a few in your closet!

Perhaps one of my favorite aspects of this particular shirt is the tunic length, which is one of the most flattering shirt lengths in my opinion, especially when wearing white denim. 

On to a personal note, I had a great weekend last weekend! I attended a local vegan pop-up dinner with Jesse (stay tuned for a post about that), one of my good friend’s bridal showers, and a welcome home party in LA for my friend who just moved home from law school. It was a jam-packed weekend indeed so most of Sunday was spent catching up on sleep and watching TV on the couch with Jesse’s sister who came to have dinner with us. While I do love a relaxed weekend, it’s nice to be able to see so many friends who are celebrating huge milestones in their lives. It reminds me how fortunate I am to be surrounded by inspiring, successful people who motivate me to be better.
