Summer Stripes

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of anything striped. I love that the stripes of this dress give off such a “summer” vibe due to the light color. Dresses like these are my favorite to pair with a bright orange lipstick color, such as in ‘Mrs. Roper’. (I’m wearing ‘Feelin’ Myself’ in this post, which is a few shades lighter).

I’m typically not a midi dress kind of girl, as many midi dresses end up going to my ankles and making me look shorter than I am. I think the trick is to find one with a plunging neckline and slit. With the slit you can peek your leg out from time to time which really gives the illusion of being taller and leaner, and is super flattering.
