An extra thank goodness for moms who are budding interior designers and have an impeccable eye for all things beautiful. Excuse the iphone picture — but I was too excited to share these with you guys!
My mom was out thrifting last week and saw these brass & lucite lamps, going for $30 a piece. She was able to talk them down to $25 a piece and now they are mine. I cannot believe how perfect they are and what a find that was! She is truly the best.
I’m thinking of putting them on the side tables in the living room, and now I need to decide on lampshade colors. Your thoughts?

Ok those are seriously amazing. I'd let them be the focal point and go simple on the shades. Like a modern solid.
