I joke all the time that our apartment is 50 shades of grey, in the literal sense that there are probably about 50 shades of different greys in our apartment. A recent trip to Home Goods spurred a bathroom makeover so here’s a little peek (not much to see, it’s a tiny bathroom). Before I had a royal blue shower curtain, and while it was pretty, it didn’t fit with the rest of our space. I like each room to have its own personality, but I also want the space to flow.
The shower rod our apartment came with is hideous. It’s very industrial looking and honestly looks like a large, rusted metal rod. I purchased the valances on a really sketchy website so I’m just going to go ahead and not share that source with you guys. I didn’t think I’d actually get them, and the quality is nothing to call home about. BUT they do cover the ugly rod, and I think it gives the bathroom a cozier feel.
Now I need your help! Right now I have my little gold dot bowl holding my bath fizzies, but I would really like some cool clear glass urns (like these but glass) in different sizes to house things like bath fizzies, cotton balls, and q-tips. I just don’t want to pay $50 a vase for it. I want uber cheap. Any ideas?
Your bathroom looks so cute! I love what you did to cover the shower rod and your sunburst mirror. I'm currently in the process of trying to decorate my room right now and just got a sunburst mirror and I love it 🙂

Love that shower curtain! My guest bathroom is the only one I've done any work to and it's grey as well.
I've had luck finding those containers at TJ Maxx and Ross. I'm not sure if they have those stores in your area. I'm just always on the lookout for them and buy them even when I don't need them. Cause you never know…. 🙂
