When choosing outfits, I am often inspired by the place that I am visiting in that moment. For example, in England a few years ago I was extremely inspired by the ultra feminine outfits so I gravitated towards bow blouses and things with a ruffle hem. In New York, I feel a bit edgier so I tend to wear mostly black outfits. In the above outfit I am in my home city, and although I may not be visiting, I still take outfit inspiration from my surroundings! I feel so fortunate to live so close to the beach, and I think a lot of times my outfits take on a “beachy” or “nautical” feel to them because of where I live.
The above top is another great H&M find that reminds me of so many higher end styles out there. I love the navy color paired with black which in my opinion, plays off the colors of the ocean.
