There’s a bit funny story about this outfit. Jesse and I went to drinks awhile back with another couple (who is good friends of ours), and I wore this outfit. Upon arrival, (we will call him “C”) proclaims — “What are you wearing and why did you cut your dress in half?” I attempted to explain that no, it is indeed meant to be in two pieces, but it did not stick. He was left bewildered the rest of the night. He kept turning to girlfriend “K” and saying “I have a great idea, let’s buy a dress and cut it in half. Genius.”
I can’t help but think of C now whenever I wear it, and laugh at the fact that as bloggers or fashionistas, something like a two piece outfit might seem completely normal… I mean, we immerse ourselves in these types of trends and fashion on a daily basis. To the outside world however, our outfit choices might seem very strange.
To each his own, I say! Two piece for the win!
(But really though, I just adore the two piece trend).

I try to make it a point to dress to impress myself and not worry so much about others. Some people just can't appreciate good taste 😉
