Weekend Finds

We had the most relaxing weekend — one that’s been due as J just wrapped up a big project.  We utilized our Disneyland passes and spent lots of time watching movies with wine and pizza.  I did come across some lucky finds this weekend and thought I’d share…

I saw this Jonathan Adler for JCPenney vase when Ally from From The Right Bank posted it on her instagram.  I’m a sucker for anything black & white and anything with stripes so I when I saw it was on major sale, I had to snag it.  It’s only $29.99 and you can snag it here.

I saw these columns in the trash at our apartment complex and had to have them.  I was literally head-first dumpster diving when a neighbor walked in.  Thankfully she didn’t judge me as she had snagged some wicker chairs the same people threw away earlier.

I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do with them yet but I’m thinking they could look really cool painted a gloss black with plants on top.  Any ideas are welcome though.  (They’re really short – about 2 ft tall).

I basically sprinted down the aisle when I saw these tortoise glasses from afar at Marshall’s.  I’ve been obsessed with the tortoise glasses at Furbish which are 4 for $60, and probably would have purchased them, but I’m so glad I waited.  I scored 6 of these pretties for $24.

And she’s not a weekend find, but she’s cute and this is where she spent most of the weekend.

    Love these finds! I applaud your dumpster diving dedication – most certainly paid off! I picked up a pine-scented candle this weekend and it smells simply amazing!

    You hit the jackpot this weekend!!! Good for you! I did some dumpster diving this weekend too! Didnt score as big as you with those columns, however.

    Haha there is no shame in a dumpster dive here and there! My headboard was left in the stairwell of my old apartment building!

    I love these finds. I wen to the thrift store this week also to look for a bust to hang necklaces from but didn't find anything I liked. better luck next time 🙂
