Festival Season Essentials | #BabbleBoxx

With festival season on the horizon, I’m feeling like summer is officially almost here — which has me so excited! I’ve been to my fair share of festivals (I’m off to Fyre Festival in a few weeks!), so you could say I’ve got a good idea of the essentials you’ll need if you’re also embarking on your own festival adventure. I’ve partnered up with BabbleBoxx to bring you some of my favorite items that you’ll definitely want to bring with you.

HYDRATING BEAUTY PRODUCTS

I recently tried this Coconut Water shampoo and conditioner from Renpure and I cannot say enough good things about it. I had my hair styled for a shoot recently by someone who had NO idea what they were doing and they fried my hair by using a flat iron over and over again on the same strand of hair. I was pretty devastated by this as I take a lot of pride in keeping my hair healthy and strong. I’ve been using this shampoo and conditioner daily and I really feel like it is helping my hair come back to life. I also love that it doesn’t weigh my hair down — which a lot of hydrating products do.

I’m also loving the Renpure Coconut Oil and if you don’t know about coconut oil then you best listen up! It’s amazing for hydrating your skin and your hair — two things that are guaranteed to dry out during festival season. You will thank me later if you bring this stuff along. Renpure Products are of course, vegan and cruelty-free as well so that is amazing.

This product is not necessarily hydrating but it will make your life a lot easier before a festival. These Nad’s wax strips are going to save your life as you will not want to be shaving every day — trust me! I’m sure you already know that waxing will keep your legs hair-free for much longer than shaving as it pulls the hair from the root. (Up to 8 weeks!) They are made with pomegranate and grapefruit extracts, so if you have sensitive skin these are great for you. Nad’s is another vegan & cruelty-free brand, so now you can be hairless and kind! Woo hoo!

CUTE PJ’S

If you’re anything like me, you take every hour you can to sleep in after a long night of dancing and listening to music. I prefer to stay in a hotel when I go to festivals, so that I can have a nice shower, refresh, hang in my PJ’s as long as possible, and order room service breakfast. (I am SO not a camping girl – haha!) I am in love with this bralette and leopard tank from PJ Salvage because they are comfy enough to sleep in, but cute enough to throw on a pair of denim shorts and wear as an outfit as well.

REFRESHMENTS

You will definitely want to bring a LOT of water, as it’s easy to forget to hydrate when you’re in the desert or in the sun all day because you’ll be too busy listening to your favorite bands. I absolutely love La Croix sparkling water because it has some flavor to it and is so refreshing. I recommend this to anyone who loves soda but wants to cut back. This Cúrate Melón Pomelo flavor is cantaloupe mixed with grapefruit for a tangy taste with a touch of sweetness. It could be great as a mixer ingredient for a cocktail, but also amazing as simply a fruity refreshment.

SNACKS

Anyone who knows me well, knows I am a sour candy freak. I always have to get sour candy on a road trip – I can’t help it! For festival snacks, I try to get a good mix of things so everyone’s happy. I’ll get some fruit, bagels, chips and salsa, and some sour candy so we always have something to snack on if we need. Lately I’ve been obsessed with anything Sour Punch as they are vegan! I am loving these Ragin’ Red bites (because red is the best flavor, duh), and the Pineapple Mango Chili straws are SO unique and if you love mango and chili powder as a combo you will die for these.

If you have any festival “essentials” you can’t live without, leave them in the comments, and if you’re going to any festivals, let me know which one!
