5 Ways To Wear Your Floral Dresses In The Fall

If I had to give away every piece of clothing and live in one thing for the rest of my life, it would be a dress like this one. There’s nothing better than being able to throw on a comfy dress and have a chic, put together outfit.

While I’m able to wear dresses well into October (we’re still experiencing 80 degree weather), I know many of you guys don’t live in a climate where you can go out without a jacket or closed-toed shoes. HATS

I’m not sure if this is true, but I’ve always been told if your head and feet are warm, the rest of you will be warm. Do any of you know if that’s a fact? Either way, hats are adorable and really complete any fall outfit. I’m loving the classic fedora but the “baker boy” style that’s super trendy right now is one of my favorites. I love how it’s got a masculine touch, and think it would be so cute with so many floral fall dresses.

BOOTIES

I can’t live without a good pair of booties in the fall. I love the way they look with bare legs and dresses, but equally love them with tights as well, if you can’t go bare legged.

OVER-THE-KNEE BOOTS

I love over-the-knee boots as an alternative to booties. You can cover most of your legs while allowing a little peek of thigh to show through.

JACKETS

Obviously you’ll want a warm jacket to complete the look. My favorite styles right now are the faux-sherpa and a faux-leather moto jacket (a classic). I think these really add an extra flare to a classic floral dress, over a standard peacoat.
