I want to credit Stuart Weitzman for the over-the-knee boot trend when the 50/50 boot went crazy a few years ago. I feel like I saw it everywhere. Thankfully more affordable brands are coming out with their versions of over-the-knee boots so no matter what your height or leg size is, you can find one that works for you.
I used to think leather and suede were the way to go, but obviously my thinking shifted when I became a vegan and it no longer was worth it to me to wear fashion that an animal had to suffer for. I will tell you whether that’s a priority of yours or not, that switching to vegan fashion has been so much better for my wallet (and stress levels!). Most vegan shoes and bags are more affordable, and most all are made out of a material that you won’t have to worry about getting ruined – I remember always being upset wearing leather and suede when it would rain because I knew my stuff would get ruined. It’s definitely something to think about.
