Festival Fashion

It’s that time of year where fringe, flower crowns, and boho in general is everywhere – it’s festival season!  I’ve been to a few festivals in the past (see my past Coachella outfits here, here, and here), and dressing for festivals is certainly a mix of finding something practical but also fashionable. 

Lulu’s has been a go-to for me when it comes to events since they have so many unique options.  They have so many gorgeous boho-inspired pieces that make festival shopping a breeze (I mean, I am all for being able to create a whole outfit all in one stop).

Since my style is very girly, I still stay true to that when dressing for a festival.  I love dresses because when it’s extremely hot out in the desert, it’s nice to wear something that isn’t sticking to your skin.  The above dress has the perfect “flower child” vibe to it with the off-the-shoulder silhouette and lace detailing.  I paired it with my favorite comfortable wedges, though I would highly recommend booties for the actual festival, because your feet will get dirty!  Wedges like I’m wearing would be perfect if you are attending one of the pre-festival events hosted by one of the many brands that typically attend.

My necklace is a must if you’re headed to a festival — it can actually also be worn as a body chain, so it’s like having two jewelry pieces in one!
