If you missed my review on the cleansing conditioner, check it out here. I’ve been loving the cleansing conditioner and think the volumizing treatment spray is the perfect complement. I have pretty fine hair, so I like to get as much volume as possible. I’ve been spraying this directly on my roots and loving the results.
I was extremely interested in this product as I’ve never used a spray makeup primer. I’ve used cream makeup primers, and makeup setting sprays, but never spray makeup primer. I love this product because it’s a light mist on your face, so it doesn’t feel like one more “product” on your face. I think too many face products can lead to a cake-y look. This spray keeps your face from getting greasy and melty at the end of the day which seems to be inevitable, especially at this time a year. It’s a little on the pricier side, but a little goes a long way so you will definitely get your moneys worth.
Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Polish in Heatwave & Love Me Some Muscles!
I’ve you’ve been reading the blog, you know I get new colors in the Wet n Wild Megalast Polish almost every month. It is just the best as far as staying on without chipping. I can get it to last up to two weeks with a good topcoat. The Heatwave color is almost an exact dupe to O.P.I.’s Cajun Shrimp, for less than half the price. Love Me Some Muscles is the perfect summer coral that is muted enough to be professional in the office.
This duo definitely provides close-to-gel results, without the hassle of waiting to dry under UV lights in between coats. I didn’t find that my nails were super weak after removing the polish, and it came off easily with nail polish. The polish lasted 2 weeks which is how long my gel lasts when I get them done at the salon! I am craving all the other colors in this line now. Would you guys be interested in seeing swatches? I’ll admit it, I’m not very adventurous when it comes to shoes in different colors. I always gravitate towards neutrals or the occasional blue. I’ve seen these shoes on a few of my favorite bloggers, (Mara and Katie come to mind) and they styled them multiple times in really cute ways which made me feel comfortable buying a heel in such a bold color. I would love to pair them with a bohemian style white dress or a navy fit and flare dress.
This mug makes morning coffee happy. I’m not a morning person, though I prefer to get my day started early… does that make sense? Basically I usually wake up grumpy so any little thing that can make me happier is key. I’m a fanatic of print mixing and bright colors, and this mug gives me both of those things.
