Favorite Spring Lipsticks

Happy Monday my loves!  I spent the weekend with Danielle in LA attending my very first Lucky FABB Conference.  I loved listening to the speakers (Nicole Richie, Coco Rocha, Sophia Amoruso, just to name a few) but more importantly I loved meeting fellow fashion & beauty bloggers.  If I did meet you this weekend – hello!  Thanks for making it a fabulous time.

Seeing all the bright colors on clothes, shoes, and lips this weekend had me thinking about my favorite springtime lipstick colors!  I gathered my favorites to share with you all…

1. Lorac Cosmetics “Flower Child” – I got this lipstick from a goodie bag at a Lucky FABB event hosted by two of my fellow OC bloggers – Hadasa from The Dressy Chick and Katie from All Glammed Up (thanks again for having me ladies!).  I had heard of the brand before but never tried it, and loved talking to the ladies from Lorac about their products. Their lipsticks are a perfect mix between satin and matte and are highly pigmented (a must for me).  One of the things we talked about was how the lipsticks are bright and fun without being too bold to wear to the office.  This pretty coral color will be in high rotation for me (I’ve already worn it non-stop).

2. MAC “Snob” – I get excited about pastels every spring, and this lipstick color is no exception.  It’s the prettiest baby pink which makes me feel ultra-girly.

3. LAQA & Co. “Lambchop” – This is one of my all-time favorite lipsticks.  It stays on all day long (it slowly fades into a pink stain), and has a really creamy consistency so it doesn’t settle and crack on your lips. It’s a bright fuchsia and gives a pop to any outfit.

4.Wet n’ Wild “A Stiff Pink” – This is more of a balm/stain than a lipstick, but it sure does pack in the color like a lipstick!  This is a fun bright pink, and is perfect for days where you don’t want to look too “made up” (think a pool party or golf day).

5. Wet n’ Wild “Purty Persimmon” – This reminds me a lot of MAC’s Morange, but has a bit more of a red tint.  This lipstick is perfect for springtime dinners because it’s bold, but a nice change from your standard red.

6. L’Oreal “Sea Fleur” – This is another favorite.  It’s similar to LAQA & Co.’s “Lambchop”, but is a little bit more purple.  As a blonde with fair skin, I get nervous with purple lipsticks, but this offers enough warmth and is a nice balance of purple and pink.

Do you have any lipstick shades that you love to use in spring? Do share, because I’m always looking for more!  A girl can never have too many lipsticks, ya feel?
