Splurge or Save

Untitled #112

Clu Ruffle-hem Sweatshirt  |  Xhilaration Button-back Sweater

You all know I’m digging the sweatshirt trend from this post, but this particular style had me at hello.  I love the ruffle trim which adds the perfect amount of feminine.  It’s a no brainer for me here… I’d go with the save.  I actually prefer the blush to the blue, and I can’t justify a $200 sweatshirt.  Knowing me, I’d inadvertently wear the $200 one to sleep.

Which would you choose?

I have to agree with you – the pink it so cute and reminds me of a ballerina! I shared some some for sweatshirts today too, great minds think alike 🙂

I'm with you. You can't beat that price tag and they are both so similar! I love the extra feminine touch the pink gives the sweater as well. Great picks!

I would go with the cheaper one because knowing me, I'd wear it once or twice and forget about it, as I do with a lot of my clothes :/

Really? OMG that's more than 50% save and they're so similar. I even prefer the pink one too 🙂 much more feminine!

That ruffled version is the perfect mix of sweet and tomboy-ish. So cute!

So cute! I love the ruffle trim – in fact instead of buying one I might just DIY one myself this weekend! Great post!

Wow they are pretty similar, especially when looking at the price of the second one. This is an awesome find, I love that grey color!

Oh wow haven't seen those beauties before, they are gorgeous

I have to say, this looks like a splurge situation … the left one looks just so well made.

On the other hand, if I had only seen the one on the right I also would have been sold 🙂

The blush is so much better. But I'd obvi say that, since it's my favorite color. I think I need it.

Is it wrong that I actually like the one on the right SO MUCH BETTER, and I am totally going to buy it?

    Thanks for the great post!

Ooh definitely the save! I can't justify spending $200 on a clothing item. On a purse however definitely haha! I too prefer the blush to the blue, a lot more chic.

    Oooh!

I'd have to splurge! It's such a nice item of clothing and it would always be a handy thing. They wore this stuff in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's. It'll never go out of style. Plus, it hangs really nicely.
