The best part about awards shows is the fashion, IMO. Here are my top 5 favorite picks (in no particular order) from the Emmys red carpet:
1. Maria Menounos in Oliver Tolentino
For starters, this color could not be more perfect for her skin tone. The slit is the perfect height and the shoes are simple yet make a statement. I also love that her hair is pulled back to emphasize the sweetheart neckline.
2. Morena Baccarin in Basil Soda
I think it can be difficult to pull off grey on the runway, but this shade is bold enough that it doesn’t wash her out and I am obsessed with the fabric and how it’s layered. A sexy plunge neck doesn’t hurt either.
3. Emilia Clarke in Chanel
I have a major girl crush on her, so she can do no wrong. But neither can Chanel. I love the baroque print, and the peekaboo skirt. I also love that she chose nude shoes and understated accessories so your focus is completely on the dress.
4. Leslie Mann in Naeem Khan
Orange & turquoise are a match-made in heaven in my eyes. And the detailing on the top is gorgeous.
5. Sofia Vergara in Zuhair Murad
Only Sofia can pull off a dress like this, and she does it well. It’s very mermaid-esque to me — in a good way.

I LOVE Leslie Mann! She is just the cutest! Did you hear that Sophia Vagara's dress split in the back a few minutes before her show won an award!? They had to sew her back into it real quick! Something that would happen to me!!!!
