One of my New Year’s resolutions this year was to find a workout that I enjoyed and actually stick to it. To be frank, I do not enjoy being in a gym at all. I hate most things about it and because of that, I would always find an excuse not to go. I am also not very good at pushing myself when it comes to fitness, which is crucial if you want to see results. In January I bought a Groupon to Pure Barre, thinking I would like it but would probably try other fitness places before committing. After the first class I was totally hooked and have been going ever since.

When I first started classes I had no good-quality workout clothes. I mostly wore old leggings and old sorority t-shirts. It was fine, but I wasn’t feeling good about myself when wearing them – I felt frumpy. I’ve found that having nice workout gear gets you more excited about the workout, and you feel more confident when you’re doing it. It seems silly that clothing can have such an impact on your workout, but it really does for me! Do you guys feel that way too? The ruching on the side of the top makes it super flattering, and the leggings are so soft that I would probably wear them every day if I could.
