Beauty on a Budget (New Series!)

I definitely believe that when it comes to certain things, you get what you pay for. I will never use anything but MAC studio fix powder and I prefer NARS blush over anything else. However, there are some beauty products that I refuse to buy a more expensive version of, because they do the job better than most name-brand counterparts.
Beauty on a Budget

  • Maybelline Age Rewind – My newest foundation find…the coverage is excellent and it really does smooth fine lines. My skin looks fresh and smooth.
  • Maybelline Gel Eyeliner – Stays. On. All. Day.
  • Freeman’s Avocado & Oatmeal Clay Mask – Why yes I would like a personal spa sesh anytime I please…
  • e.l.f. All Over Color Stick – This gives you the perfect dewy sheen on the apples of your cheeks, brow bones, and anywhere else you want to highlight. And at only a dollar? Too good to be true.
  • Maybelline Baby Lips – These make your lips feel so smooth, and have the tiniest hint of color. Perfect for everyday wear without the maintenance that lipstick requires.
  • Forever21 makeup bag – Can you say Kate Spade impersonator? I’m okay with it…well I guess I should say my wallet is.

I found the cutest Betsey Johnson knock-off make-up bag at F21 last year — I used it as an xmas present for my 13-year-old cousin, and filled it with fun (not too expensive) make-up stuff. She loved it! :]

I agree — that mask is the best!
