My latest trip to H&M brought me to an adorable neon binkini top with a unique cutout middle. The color is right on trend and will perfectly accent a nice tan. The ruffles are adorable, but they just really aren’t my style. Plus, I’ve been wanting a fringe bikini for as long as I can remember. My solution? Make my own.
I hesitate to call this a DIY but rather a re-vamp. So I took my scissors and quite literally snipped away.

The trick is to cut each strip in one swift clip rather than a careful “snip snip snip”.
And now, I have the fringe bikini I always wanted, with a standout triangle cut-out, and it was only $14.95!
What is your favorite swimsuit trend for spring?

Cute! And I love that color.
Cute! I'm loving the peachy-pink or coral colors I keep seeing everywhere 🙂 I need a tan before getting in a swimsuit though!
SOOOO cute!!! I love that. Great idea!
The "after" is so much cuter than the "before" 🙂 Love the color!
Love this idea!! And that chartreuse color is awesome – I just wish I had the tan to pull it off! I still want to get a black one piece with interesting cut outs for this summer 🙂

I love what you have done with this top. Very creative.
This is a great revamp! Thats (part of!) the beauty of H&M…nothing there is too over the top pricey! I also love those leopard printed scissors, very fun! 🙂
Such a great job! Love the new look! xo
What a clever idea! Love your blog!
