Boucle & Bootights

Dress: Forever21 (similar) // Blouse: Forever21 // Belt: eBay // Tights: Bootights c/o  // Booties: Express (similar)

I love a good classic dress, like this boucle one from Forever21.  It only cost me $29.99 and I’ve worn it probably 10 times in the last 3 months.  I think every gal needs a classic dress like this in their closet, because there are so many ways to style it, without anyone realizing it is the same dress.  I love this look, paired over a collared blouse and tights, because it is classic and crisp but not your average outfit at the same time.
Speaking of tights… have you ever seen tights like these?!  Bootights was sweet enough to reach out to me and send me a pair, and I don’t think there could be a more perfect invention for me!  Do you guys ever wear tights with your booties and your feet slip around and make it really uncomfortable?  You all know I’m a tights and dress kind of girl, and this problem has presented itself more than once.  I usually layer socks over my tights but sometimes it’s TOO much fabric and my shoes don’t fit.  Well, these tights have socks built in to the feet of the tights!  So cool, so fun, and I’m in love.
Speaking of dresses… we didn’t even talk Oscars yesterday!  My favorite dresses were Jessica Chastain and Naomi Watts.  Who donned your favorite dress?
xoxo,
H

Love your hair and the dress!

I posted a blogpost about the Oscar-dresses on my blog, and i thought Jennifer Lawrence, Charlize Theron and Jennifer Garner were the 'best dressed'.

I can't believe that dress is from Forever XXI! It's gorgeous and looks super high quality (some of their pieces look cheap). Gorgeous! I really love how you've styled it! What a find.

Your outfit is SO cute and chic for work all at the same time. Those tights sound heaven sent – I definitely have that same problem with slippage!

My fav was Jennifer Lawrence. Especially loved her understated back necklace. So pretty!

Love the whole ensemble, but particularly the belt! Always darling outfit posts.

Oscar talk: just wasn't wowed by anybody this year. I thought all the dresses I saw had some weird boob thing going on, like everyone was afraid to show cleavage. I thought some of the after-party looks hit the mark. Princess gowns… meh, but I'm a sucker for a good party dress.
