I think the most important thing to know when it comes to buying investment pieces for your wardrobe, is where to buy. You definitely do not have to shell out full price to own something designer.
The above websites are my favorites for designer items and this is why:
1. They frequently have pop-up shops with various designers. You will see everything from Christian Louboutin, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel to Dolce Vita, Theory, Kate Spade, and Michael Kors all at a discounted price.
2. You can feel comfortable in knowing you are buying authentic. Ebay & Craigslist often have fabulous prices, but you risk the chance of buying an imitation.
3. Most of these websites offer rewards if your friends sign up and buy something – which is perfect if your mom, sisters, aunts, and girl friends have the same taste as you. It’s a great opportunity to save even more money.
The downside is…as with any website that requires you to sign up, is spam email. I suggest having a “Coupons” folder or an email specifically for subscriptions, because cleaning them out can be a pain. BUT I will say you will want to see the spam email from time to time so you know when a good sale pops up first thing — otherwise what you want might be sold!
Do you have any websites or favorite spots for scoring investment pieces?
MyHabit is a good one too!
There are places on here that I haven't heard of! Def going to check them out.

Love this info! Great post. Many of these sites are also my favorites. Sometimes I crave a storefront shopping trip… but thats why we have Forever21 right? haha!
