Denim Pinafore Dress

Something about this denim pinafore dress reminded me of something I would have worn as a kid in the 90’s… but I kind-of sort-of love it. Isn’t it so funny how the trends always come back around? I remember thinking there was no way the 90’s fashion could come back, but it is in full force and showing no signs of stopping!

The deep-v and a-line skirt on this dress are extremely flattering and allow for whatever type of layering you might desire. I really want to continue layering things into spring as much as I can (before it gets too hot!) I totally see this dress over something longer sleeved in the colder months and then styled with a tee (seen below) or a turtleneck tank when it gets warmer.

I couldn’t resist these velvet booties, especially after I found out they were vegan — so I’ve had a blast experimenting with different ways to wear them well into spring. I love the way they look with dresses and think they add the perfect amount of texture to any outfit.
