Lately I find myself reaching for distressed denim almost every day. These are by far my favorite pair of jeans as they are so comfortable and they don’t stretch out after you wear them once.
I love to pair more distressed or masculine items with something feminine, so this ruffle sweater really does the trick. This is a great classic black sweater that is going to carry me through these transition months.
And of course, I have to address the newest addition to my bag collection — this embroidered beauty from River Island. You guys know I love embroidered things (case in point here and here), so it’s no surprise this bag speaks to me. I think it’s the absolute perfect bag for spring and it’s cruelty-free!
Sweater: H&M (shop more sweaters here) | Jeans: Levi’s (recently seen here and here) (shop more jeans here) | Shoes: Asos (almost exact) | Bag: River Island | Belt: Forever21 (bought in store – similar here) | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Watch: Armani Exchange
A nice tip for my shorter gals out there — buy higher waisted jeans, and if you don’t want to tuck the entire top in (for instance this sweater is thicker and could look bulky) — tuck in just the front part and accent it with a belt so it looks more “complete” rather than accidental. This will make your legs look longer and therefor you will look taller! I rarely wear jeans that aren’t high-waisted because of this.
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend, and thanks so much for stopping by!

I love that bag so much, it is so cute and definitely on trend as well ! I too never wear non high waisted anything because I am also super short haha, it definitely elongates the body !
