Essentials

I am constantly trying new products and switching up my morning and nightly routine but there are times when I get hooked on product and it becomes an “essential”.  The below items are all everyday use items that I’ve been using for months and want to keep on hand at all times.  I hope you guys will find it useful and maybe find a new essential for yourself!

P.S. You are getting some peeks of our new master bathroom wallpapered wall in this post!  I will share more pictures soon so stay tuned!

Teeth:

If you follow me on instagram, you know I’ve been using these for 2 weeks straight as part of the 2 weeks to your whitest smile challenge!  My teeth truly are the whitest they’ve been in a long time which makes me extremely happy.  Even though I would rather not drink coffee, it is extremely necessary at times — albeit absolutely awful when it comes to staining my teeth.  My teeth definitely get that yellowish coffee drinker tint to them when I don’t use some sort of whitening treatment regularly.   These whitestrips do not slip and slide once they are on your teeth and they have a FlexFit which means you can stretch them to fit your individual smile perfectly.  (Check out my before & after below!)

original beauty blender

Makeup:

I’ve heard good things about the beauty blender for years, and I mean years.  I honestly don’t know what took me so long to try it and I’m kicking myself for not trying it sooner!  It really is a game changer as far as applying makeup goes.  It makes your foundation look so natural and you can’t see any marks or streaks.  I also use the pointed side for blending my under-eye concealer which has made that whole process a lot faster and easier.
infusium 23 hair care
Hair Care:

Lately my hair has been feeling really damaged and dry.  I think I can attest that to using hot tools more than normal.  I usually try to use heatless styling options or wear my hair up during the week so I don’t damage my hair, but haven’t lately.  I love this line because it smells sooo amazing and is extremely affordable.  You get a lot of bang for your buck – you can find each one at most major drugstores for around $6.99 each and I cannot see the end of any of the bottles even after using them for months.  One of my favorite parts is the fragrance, it smells really clean and reminds you of the salon.  I switch shampoos and conditioners almost weekly but I will probably always have this line on hand for when my hair gets dry and damaged.

palmer's cocoa butter skin oil
Skin Care:
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil & Body Butter

Even though we don’t get super cold weather, my skin still seems to change when winter hits.  My skin gets way more dry and a daily application of lotion doesn’t seem to do the trick.  I’ve been loving the Palmer’s classic cocoa butter for general moisture and the skin therapy oil has been amazing for extra dry spots like my elbows and knees.  The best part?  Palmer’s is going “pink” for National Breast Cancer Awareness monthdonating 15 % of each sale of specially-marked bottles to Susan G. Komen® now until June 2015.  So if you do happen to pick one up make sure you get one with the Susan G. Komen logo and you’ll be supporting an amazing cause!

*Products marked were gifted.  All opinions are 100% my own and I will never, ever, blog about a gifted product that I do not use myself and absolutely love!
