For the Love of Layering

There’s something about layering pieces on top of each other that takes an outfit to the next level. When I saw this dress in stores I knew it would be such a classic piece to add to my wardrobe, and while it’s more of a spring silhouette, I wanted something I could wear all year long. Because it’s been a bit cooler here lately I decided to layer it on top of a sleek black turtleneck which I think really completes the look and allows me to wear it before spring. I added an oversized belt which accents the waist for a really flattering look, but also complements the black turtleneck.

I definitely suggest going through the dresses in your closet — maybe you have an old dress that you want to bring the life back to, or a more spring style you can’t wait to wear? If so, try layering it over a turtleneck for a fresh look!
