I certainly have a high appreciation for matching sets (you know this if you watched this YouTube video). While this looks like a romper (and that’s sort of the point), it’s actually a separate top and pair of shorts! I’m all about getting the most bang for your buck, and to me, matching sets are it. You can wear them together to look like a romper, or the top on its own (such as with these pants) or the shorts on their own (like with this top), for three looks in two pieces. To me this is ideal for travel. I took this on my last vacation and it was so nice to know I had three outfits if I needed to change it up. Between you and me… I didn’t need to because (hello) I always over-pack.
Top: Lucca Couture c/o | Shorts: Lucca Couture c/o | Shoes: Asos (sold out – similar here) | Bag: Forever21 | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Bracelets: Margaret Elizabeth c/o
The pleating on this set is probably my favorite part – it gives it a retro touch and is also extremely flattering. The straps on the top are adjustable making it extremely comfortable as well.
We had a productive weekend – both J and I had a lot of work to do and spent the majority of the weekend working (oh the self employed life!) I did get to see some of my girlfriends over the weekend – we had a little pizza party at her parent’s house which was so fun and delicious.
I hope you all had a fantastic weekend, and thanks for stopping by!
