The Holiday Little Black Dress

One of my favorite parts about the holidays is having an excuse to get “glammed” up more than once in a few months time-span.  I used to love dances in high school and sorority functions so the holidays to me are a chance to re-live all of that.  I’ve got some fun holiday inspired outfits to share with you this week that will be fitting for whatever type of function you have coming up (formal, casual, flirty).

This dress is what I call the perfect staple little black dress.  I love that this one is modest, making it appropriate for something like an office party or any party, if you are more of a modest dresser.  The shape is a classic silhouette that will take you through the years and trends, but has a bit of flare with the cold-shoulder bow sleeves.  I paired it a statement necklace and my new favorite dress shoes – seriously these give me “Nudist” vibes with more of a flare, and of course they’re vegan and way more affordable.

We had a great weekend catching up on work stuff, but we did get to squeeze in a movie — we saw The Edge of Seventeen – have you seen it?  It was so cute and nostalgic in some ways.
