Striped Maxi Tank Dress – $19: Grayson Shop  |  Leather Jacket: Wallis c/o (50% off)  |  Sandals: Sam Edelman (sold out – similar) |  Earrings: F21 – $6.80  |   Bangles: F21 (similar – $5.80)  |  Bag: Kate Spade (50% off)

I used to steer clear of maxis because I thought they would make me look shorter.  I’ve found that they actually do the opposite, by giving the illusion that I’m taller – especially with a small heel.  I love the versatility of this striped maxi from Grayson Shop.  I can see myself wearing it so many different ways.  Grayson Shop is a new web shop based in Los Angeles, catering towards women looking for quality fashion at affordable prices.  Most of their pieces are $10 or less – and you can even get $5 off your first purchase when you sign up for their email.  Serious steal.

I love a leather jacket over a maxi because I think it makes for the perfect transition to spring.  Right now we’ve got some confusing weather in Orange County.  It looks like it would be 80 degrees outside because it is so sunny, but you step outside and are desperately wishing for a jacket.  A jacket?! It’s horrible, I know.

I hope you all had a great weekend, and happy Monday!

What a great color for a leather jacket–I love how different and "springish" it is!

Loving the gray leather jacket! I don't think I've seen one that color and it is kind of perfect – a nice change from the everyday black, but just as versatile!

Such a gorgeous look! I bought a light grey maxi too but it arrived and was slightly seethrough…not sure how I'm going to salvage it yet because I love it. Also, jealous of your nice weather!

Such a simple but fabulous get up that goes a long way! Love the leather jacket and the lip! What color is that?
By the way I'm still kicking myself in the butt for not purchasing those heels before they sold out 🙁

Hi Deanna! It's L'Oreal Sea Fleur. It's a lot more purple/magenta when you put on more than one coat. It's one of my favorites.
