I have intended to do a video of my beauty routine for forever now, but I just can’t seem to get the right lighting in our apartment.  I don’t want to short you guys by posting a poor quality video, so I’m going to hold off on that… but if it’s something you think you might like to see, let me know!  In the meantime, here are the products I use on a daily basis and a little bit about each of them.

*Jouer Matte Moisture Tint in Nude – $38
This is by far the best foundation I’ve ever used.  It’s technically not even a foundation, it’s a tinted moisturizer, but it makes your skin look absolutely perfect.  I used MAC studio fix foundation for the longest time and while it provided good coverage, it looked wonky towards the end of the day and it also was horrible for my skin.  I break out so much less with the Jouer Matte Moisture Tint, and I don’t think I’ll ever use anything else.

L’Oreal True Match Crayon Concealer in Fair/Light Neutral – $7.99
I love the crayon application of this concealer.  I swipe a few swipes under my eyes, use a bit for highlighting on my brow bone, nose, chin, and any blemishes.  My only complaint is that it doesn’t last longer – but I might just use more concealer than the average person.  As far as drugstore makeup goes, I think it provides really good coverage.

MAC StudioFix Powder – $27
I like to lightly dust this on over the tinted moisturizer and concealer to sort of set everything.  I’ve used it since I first started wearing makeup years and years ago so I know what to expect from it.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Blushing Bride – $26
This is a newer find of mine.  I used NARS Orgasm for the longest time, then switched the The Balm Hot Mama.  I still love that blush but thought it was a little too warm & glow-y for winter makeup.  I love Blushing Bride because it is such a pretty mauve color for fall.  It also really does last close to 12 hours which blows my mind.

*Jouer Mineral Powder Bronzer in Suntan – $28
I love a sparkly bronzer in the summer, but in the winter it’s way too overwhelming and fake looking.  This bronzer is shimmer-less (thank goodness) and blends so well for a natural look.  I use it under my cheekbones for contour, on my forehead, nose, and under my chin.

Jane Water-Resistant Eyeliner in Pure White – $6
I like to line my lower waterline with this during the week.  It makes me look more awake, and makes my eyes look bigger.

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Waterproof – $4.50
I use this on top of the Covergirl Lash Exact to make my lashes a bit darker and thicker.  It’s also really pretty on its own – it gives you really feathery lashes.

Covergirl Lash Exact Mascara – $5
This is a new staple.  I couldn’t believe how much I liked this mascara for the price.  It’s so cheap, I can buy it in bundles — and probably will.  I like to look for separation and waterproof when looking for mascaras, and this one brings both.

Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner in Black – $7.99
I’ve used this for a really long time to create winged eyeliner.  If you’ve had lots of practice with the cat eye, then this is a good line because it really stays put.  If not, I’d recommend an eyeliner pen.  The downside to this eyeliner is once it’s on, it’s on… so make sure you don’t mess up!

*Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer – $20
I never really considered the need for an eyeshadow primer until I tried this.  I kid you not, my eyeshadow stays put all day or even all night long when I put this stuff on first.  It’s a must for those of you who hate reapplying makeup mid-day as much as I do.

Wet n’ Wild Brow Pencil – $0.99
Ever since Cara Delevingne came into the picture I’ve been obsessed with eyebrows.  I’ve tried both shadows and liners, but I prefer this liner because it stays put.  I have the “taupe” color and it matches my eyebrows perfectly, while filling in the spaces.  And you can’t beat the price tag.

*Jouer Hydrating Lipstick in Lana – $22
This lipstick claims hydrating and it does just that.  It’s the perfect lipstick in the winter because it gives you a bold color but also keeps your lips moisturized.  I love the Lana color because it’s a bold pink, but not to bright for every day wear.

I miss my MAC Studio Fix, I switched over to Sephora several years ago since they have an amazing rewards program. But I do miss my Studio Fix, it may be time to switch back to MAC for my foundation.
