My Revlon Expression Experiment

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Revlon for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
When was the last time you stepped out of your comfort zone when it comes to makeup?
I will be the first to say that when it comes to my every day wear, I tend to get stuck in  a rut.  Why is that?  As women we have the power to change our look EVERY day in whatever way we want, whatever way we feel.  How amazing is that?  Why don’t we take more advantage of it?
But seriously, think about it… how often do you use the same makeup routine every day?

Cue the Revlon Expression Experiment, challenging women everywhere to get out of that rut.
On the blog today I am going to be doing two things that put me out of my comfort zone; ONE. making and posting a Vlog. (YIKES so nervous). and TWO. wearing red lipstick as a daytime look.
For starters, I was able to try various Revlon products and I.am.in.love.

In wearing all of the products, I never once got the feeling that I was wearing drugstore makeup.  The makeup feels so high-quality and I was amazed.  AND luckily they were all out of my comfort zone.  Bright blue nail polish (I usually wear navy if I’m going to wear blue), bright eyeshadow (I usually stick to nudes), and red lipstick.  I loved trying all of the products to create various new looks.
Without furthur ado, here is my first vlog, on 3 different ways to wear red lips using Revlon’s lip butter, lip gloss, and lipstick!
What do you think? Are you ready to use Revlon as a tool to empower yourself?  And try something new?  Why…?  Because we’re women and we can.  What makeup look would be the most out of your comfort zone?

Great vlog and post, sweetie! I too, am nervous, to ever go out of my comfort zone with makeup… especially with lipstick! I shy away from red lips but it looks so good on you and we have the same skin tone and hair color so maybe I will have to try!

Ooo loving the look of this line! I love trying new beauty products so it's great to hear you like what you tried! Red lips are most out of my comfort zone. I love the look though so would like to try it this fall!

I always have this fear about trying new makeup products, and worried that they may cause me to breakout or have a weird allergic reaction to the product. But I guess it doesn't hurt or break the budget to try cheaper makeup products like Revlon, i will have to try this!
