Lately I’ve been loving an almost all-neutral outfit with one pop of a color for the office.  These cobalt trousers are bright, fun, and appropriate for all seasons.

Since the pants are so bright I went with black and white accents.  I’ve got a thing for grid-print patterns and this blazer is a great affordable option at under $30.  The material did catch me off guard when it arrived – it’s got a polyester feel.  It’s definitely not a deal breaker for me but it’s hard to see what the fabric is going to look and feel like online, so I thought I would let you guys know!  It reminds me of a light-weight scuba type material, which I can appreciate since sometimes scuba material can be thick and uncomfortable.

Speaking of work, if you follow me on instagram, you may have noticed I started a new job!  I am still working in the same industry (financial services), but was offered an amazing opportunity at another firm.  Starting a new job has been quite the life “refresh” – I’ve been feeling inspired in many aspects; even in the wardrobe department!  Thanks for bearing with me and the lapse in frequent blog posts while I’ve been getting adjusted – things will be back to normal soon!
