Pink Floral Dress + Life Update

There must be something in the water because this year is the year of weddings. We have SIX weddings to attend this year which is so exciting and overwhelming all at once. We’ve never been to this many weddings in a year… the norm for us is about 1 or 2 a year.

I’m really looking forward to each wedding and am already starting to think of what I’ll be wearing to each one. I was really excited about this dress the second I put it on because not only is it the perfect dress to wear to a wedding, but it’s also one that could easily be dressed down for a brunch.

I love how comfortable this dress is and the flowy movement makes it perfect for dancing the night away. I kept the accessories pretty neutral since the dress is printed, and I love the way it turned out. If you’re in need of a dress for an upcoming wedding — this is a good one!

Now for a little life update…

as I’m sure those of you who read my blog regularly have noticed the posts are a little more infrequent than normal. I’m not abandoning the blog, but I also don’t want to put out content that isn’t meaningful or helpful in some way or another. I hope that’s okay with you guys.

I’ve been working a lot on video stuff, and those of you who are already subscribed on YouTube know that I post videos weekly over there. I don’t always do a blog post for every video, so make sure you’re subscribed over there (and hit the bell for notifications) so you don’t miss when I share a video! There will be some fashion over there, but I also share a lot of makeup & skincare products and reviews, along with my “monthly favorites” (for fashion, beauty, home, entertainment).

In addition to my own channel, I have a YouTube talk show with three of my best girlfriends called The Vegan View. We do vegan taste tests, interview people making a difference in the community, and share our views (get it?) on some more controversial topics. I think whether you’re vegan or not, you can find something you like on our channel.

Investing more in producing video content has been such a fun and exciting adventure for me, and I think that’s why the blog has quieted down a bit. I’m really working on finding a way to balance it all, as the blog is my first love and I don’t want it to get left behind. I’m working on finding the direction I want to take, and I would love to get your thoughts if you have any.
