First off, hope you all had a very relaxing Christmas!
It was just one of those all day in pajamas kind of day for me. Can’t complain!
This week I’ll be posting some more pictures of the nailhead trim on the couch from my last post, as well as some other changes that have been made in the living room! Things are finally coming together the way I envisioned and I’m so excited to share with you all.
Now I don’t normally do product reviews on this blog… (maybe that will change?) but I had to share these two products with you. No one is paying me or compensating me, but they should… Hi Birchbox!
I’m normally pleased but not enthralled with the things that come in my Birchbox. Very rarely do I feel that I.must.have.this.now. Until now.
One of the products I recieved is this 12 Benefits Healthy Hair Spray:
I have really thin hair. ALOT of thin hair, but thin nonetheless. Ask anyone, it takes me 30 minutes to brush my hair after I get out of the shower because it gets so tangly. Yesterday, I sprayed this onto my wet hair after I got out of the shower, (maybe 5 spritzes, nothing crazy) and I could INSTANTLY comb through my hair. Wild. Plus it keeps my hair shiny and not frizzy, even after sleeping on it for a night. It also protects your hair from heat styling! Lord knows I need it after curling it so much.
Anyways, if you’re looking for a new hair product, I say give it a go.
The second product that I can’t live without is the theBalm Hot Mama Blush:
I am a loyal NARS Orgasm blush loyal user. When I recieved this blush I thought mehhh another wanna be Orgasm blush. I was pleasantly surprised to find that while similar, it offers a more peachy sheen and actually looks much more natural in my opinion. I still love Orgasm, but I will probably rotate each time one runs out.
So this brings me to why I love Birchbox. I had 300 points racked up, and with the hair product being $19, and the blush being $20, I ended up spending $9 for both. That’s IT. I also got extra points with code: BUY35BONUS35
I think a lot of people who use Birchbox forget to do their reviews on their monthly products — those babies add up! at 10 points a review, and $10 for every $100, you could be getting some freebies!
Have any of you fell in loooove with a Birchbox sample? Do you keep up with your reviews?
xoxo,
H
Thanks for the great ideas.
If you get a sec, checkout my latest post. I would to hear what you think.

I got the hot mamma blush too and I thought the same thing. I really like it, and it does have a natural look to it. I love birchbox too! Such fun!

I will have to look in that leave in conditioner. I have the same problem with my hair for more or less the same reasons. Thanks for the info.

I've been tempted to try birchbox! That spray looks pretty tempting, tangles are the worst.
I have been debating getting Birchbox so much so that I am on the waiting list. I had no clue that you could earn points/rewards. Now I am really interested in signing up!
