Sally Beauty Haul & Giveaway

I recently went to Sally Beauty for the first time in a long while and my love was re-kindled!  One of my first jobs in high school was working at a beauty supply shop that’s similar so I can truly appreciate a one-stop shop like Sally Beauty.

I went on the hunt for one big item (scroll down to see!) but I found some other little must-haves along the way…

Back when I regularly got my nails done, O.P.I.’s Mod About You was an all-time favorite.  It’s a really pale, opaque, creamy white that mimics Essie’s Fiji a bit, only Mod About You is more opaque and chalky.  I’m pretty sure it’s discontinued so I let out an inner squeal when I saw it in the store.  They were having a promotion on nail polish so I also picked up the good ol classic – Lincoln Park After Dark.

I must confess, I’ve always been way to chicken to try out individual lashes but am so intrigued by them!  I love how natural they look, while giving your lashes an extra “oomph!”  I saw this starter kit and figured it would be a good thing to keep on hand for a special event.  I’ll let you guys know how my first attempt of putting them on goes…

I don’t know what has gotten into me but I am ALL about lipliner as lipstick lately!  I love the matte and natural look.  I picked up this Palladio Herbal Lip Liner in Nearly Nude because it’s such a pretty color on it’s own but it can also be used under my brighter colored lipsticks.

Now this… was the end goal of my Sally Beauty trip.  I saw this baby on the Sally Beauty Website  before I went to the store, and I knew I needed to add it to my ever-growing collection of curling wands.  This is the Tool Science Tourmaline Ceramic Curl 3HD with three different curling wands; ribbon, regular, and tapered.  I’ve loved playing with the three wands to create different curls.

I’m also a huge fan of the bag it comes in for easy travel and storage.  Gotta love anything that makes organization easier. 

All in all I think I scored big time and can’t wait to go back and do some more damage!
