Sephora Sale – My MUST HAVE Products

It’s that time of year, the Sephora VIB sale! You can get 10-15% off your entire order depending on your “status”, which is a pretty dang good deal. I thought I would make a full post with all of my must-have products from Sephora so that if you’re shopping the sale and are overwhelmed, this might narrow things down a bit for you!

As always, everything I’m recommending is cruelty-free and vegan. Just to note, a few products mentioned might be owned by a parent company that is not cruelty-free. If you’re interested, you can check out my thoughts on that here.

Skincare

– I’ve been working on wearing some type of sunscreen every single day and I’m in LOVE with this stuff. It’s mattifying so it completely smoothes out your pores. I find that it sits well underneath my makeup and actually reach for it more than I do my traditional primer just becaue of that smoothing effect. It smells like cucumbers too which is an added plus.

– All the good ingredients to keep your skin plump and hydrated with the added bonus of a glow-from within tan. This stuff isn’t going to make your face a completely different color but rather just amps up what you have a tiny bit. I find my makeup looks SO much better when I’ve put this on before and I just have a nice, healthy glow.

– Talk about a GAME CHANGER. No matter who you are, you need these peel pads in your life. They help with acne, dry skin, uneven skin tone, wrinkles, and more. Chemical peels are all the rage in the medical spa world, but these allow you to do them yourself at home. I’ve seen a significant change in my skin since using these, and while they are pricey, they are worth every penny in my opinion.

Foundation

– One of my top two foundations, ever. Has a buildable coverage and provides a super hydrating finish without making you look greasy. Looks SO natural but yet you can build it up to cover all your flaws.

– One of my top two foundations, ever. Amazing coverage without looking cake-y, not too hydrating and stays on all day.

– I’ve been using this when I have acne flare-ups as it gets rid of redness but also isn’t heavy on the skin. It provides just the right amount of sheer coverage that is perfect for my no-makeup makeup days.

Eye Products

– My ride or die mascara, I’ve been using this for years. It’s like false lashes in a bottle. I’ve been out of this for awhile so I’ve been using Pacifica Dream Big which is another great mascara but not sold at Sephora. The combination of those two is UNREAL.

– This is my favorite high-end eyeliner. If you’re looking for a cheaper option, make sure you check out this video. That said, it’s hard to beat this eyeliner as it goes on silky smooth and stays on all day.

Lipstick

– My all-time favorite nude lipstick. This formula is super comfortable on the lips — not a liquid lipstick but also still matte. I find it stays on through most of the day and the color is perfection.

– If you’re looking for a comfortable, super flattering matte mauve lipstick, this is it. I get so many questions about what lipstick I’m wearing every time I wear this. It’s a go-to for me.

 – (SO many favorite colors here but the ones I wear the most are Lolita II and Lovecraft). This lipstick is the one I reach for when I want something super matte that will stay in place ALL.DAY.LONG. This will stay on through multiple meals, and it is so nice to have perfect lipstick without having to look at it or reapply.

Primer/Setting

– My go-to primer for days where my skin is really dry. It’s a drink for your skin and is the perfect first step before putting on all your makeup.

– I really think this is the secret to perfect makeup. I do my best to blend everything out but after I spray this on it melds everything together for a really beautiful, blended look. It also helps my makeup stay on all day — and trust me, there are days where I go 12 hours plus without a touchup because of this stuff.

Random

– I’ve been exclusively using this wand for months and I love how you can change out the wands for whatever you desire. I’m the kind of girl who likes to have options when it comes to hair and this is a major space-saver.

– You guys know I’m super loyal to my hydro flask, but I just got this water bottle and it’s oh-so cute. I love that it is glass with a silicone protectant which keeps my clumsy butt from breaking it.

– I won’t even use normal hair ties anymore because of how likely I am to break my hair when putting it up or taking it down. These hair ties don’t break my hair at ALL and they also don’t leave any creases, which is a dream.

What I’m Buying

So far I’ve picked up this , as it’s supposed to help with fine lines and wrinkles and acne — all things I am looking to fix. I also picked up this from MILK as they recently made their whole line vegan. The mascara has amazing reviews so I’ve got to see if it lives up to the hype. I picked up another Hourglass Stick Foundation (see above), and I’ve got my eye on a few more things but am holding out for now.

I would love to know your fave Sephora products in the comments, and also let me know what you’re buying from the sale!

I love the hourglass veil primer & verb shampoo & conditioner. The grande lash serum is also a game changer. Ive been wanting to try the the vita liberata 2-3 week tan mousse, so I’ve ordered that. Totally gonna go back for the peel pads. I also have to say I love the coola mattifying sunscreen & better than sex mascara. Thanks for sharing!
