I’m a big believer that you don’t need a whole new wardrobe each season in order to have a “fresh” look. I love re-mixing outfits with staple pieces I already own. A co-worker actually told me yesterday that I must have a huge closet because he had never seen me wear the same outfit twice. I had to chuckle, because I’m always wearing the same pieces – I just pair them with different pieces and accessories to make them look different.
Ready for your summer wardrobe refresh? First, I recommend grabbing a Bottled Starbucks® Iced Coffee. Not only is it super refreshing, but it will give you a boost of energy which will help you weed through your closet (it can be exhausting!)
Next, pick 3 staple items that are classics. I picked a crop top, a classic vest, and a pair of cut off jean shorts. I then went through my closet and grabbed different pieces such as; high-waisted shorts, a tailored dress, skater skirt, tee-shirts, and more. I mixed and matched the pieces with my staple items until I found a combo I liked – then snap a photo!
It may seem silly to snap a photo of potential outfits, but I often find I’ll come up with an outfit in my head and then forget it soon after. If you snap a photo of it, when you’re at a loss of what to wear, you can look back at that photo for inspiration.

OMG I am loving that polka dot crop top! That is very you! Also, I like your styling with that vest… I thought about getting one and then passed on it, but I may have to go back!
