In packing for my most recent trip for Vegas I had an epiphane. Shoes…primarily heels, are ALWAYS changing. I struggled to find the right pair of shoes to go with my dress and felt as though all of my heels were not tall enough. If you would have asked me a year ago if I would wear 5.25 inch heels I would probably give you googly eyes o___O.
Fortunately or unfortunately, whichever way you choose to view it, 5.25 inch heels are in, and 4 inch heels are out. Chunky heels are in, spike thin pumps are out. I find this extremely frusterating especially since I have some heels I payed a good chunk of cash for. Don’t get me wrong…I think a lot of shoes are classic and I’m not throwing away my shoe collection just yet… but I do want to stay somewhat current!
I ventured to the Steve Madden website and was thrilled to see most of their shoes were on sale. I put a pair in my “shopping cart” and was ready to buy and then I remembered my FAVORITE website for affordable shoes, GoJane.com. I figured I should check what they have over there and I kid you not they had REPLICAS of the Steve Madden shoes I had in my shopping cart, and others I was eyeing. Well kids… instead of buying one pair of shoes, I got two pairs and a shirt for less than the price of ONE pair of on-sale Steve Maddens. The first two are in the mail awaiting to be loved on by my feetsies. 🙂
So remember…you could have this(helloi’mextremelyoverpriced)…or that(helloi’mthesamethingbut3547timescheaper).
Think about it people!

i've always been a fan of the chunky heels as opposed to the thin ones. mainly because i find it so hard to even walk in them. 5 inch heels. sounds fabulous. i might have to break a few ankles along the way!
