This weekend the beau and I and a few friends headed up to OAKLAND to see the Raiders play some football…and they kicked booty! Unfortunately, our quarterback got hurt and may be out for the season but we aren’t losing hope! The game was the first home game since Al Davis’ passing, and they had a special ceremony so we were glad to be there to celebrate his life!
I tried to play “sports photographer” throughout the day so here’s what I came up with… (the last few are from the BF…he’s just a tad better than me haha.)
We played a little catch…
Raider Fans…we are one of a kind.
Our new friend!

Mr. W’s homemade salsa!
The sun was in our eyes a little…but our seats were AHMAZING.
One of the few Cleveland fans…he was escorted out shortly after for his bad conduct :P.
Al himself!
Once a cheerleader, always a cheerleader! Love those Raiderettes!
#12 in front… Jacoby Ford!
Nicole was a Patriot fan before…but left a Raider fan
Coach Hue Jackson
BOOM Big D showin them whats up!
“Just Win Baby” – Al Davis. Words to live by.
All in all it was a great trip! If I had to give a “Champagne Lifestyle on a Beer Budget” tip, it would be to get there early so you can tailgate before the game! My boyfriend’s awesome dad Mr. W cooked us up some delicious chicken teriyaki, riblets, guacamole, and salsa! We went into the game well-fed and didn’t feel the need to splurge on an over-priced hot dog!
That’s the way to do it
xoxo,
Hannah
