I’m always inspired fashion-wise by the places I visit, and Palm Springs last week definitely got the inspiration flowing multiple times! Something about the vibe and style of Palm Springs resonates with me so well.
My girl Abby loves to thrift shop, and while I haven’t been for clothes in forever, I grew up thrifting and am always down for a treasure hunt. We went to a few different spots (I’ll share my finds with you in future posts), and one of the higher-end shops was overflowing with vibrant printed pleated maxi dresses from the 1960’s and I was getting major heart eyes every time I thumbed through another clothing rack. When I got home I was instantly reminded of this pleated top and in my mind, it’s totally a modern-day twist of 1960’s Palm Springs.
Top: Chicwish c/o | Jeans: Old (love these) (shop jeans) | Shoes: Zara (love these similar, also this navy pair would look amazing) | Bag: Zara (similar save, similar splurge) | Necklace: Criscara c/o | Sunglasses: Karen Walker (shop tortoise sunglasses) | Earrings: Tory Burch
This is definitely one of those tops that is perfect for the days where you still want to look chic but be comfortable at the same time. I actually wore this over the weekend to get vegan truffle burgers with the guy – so it was that essential top that hides the food baby, but also still cute enough for a weekend day date.
I hope you’re having a great Tuesday, and thanks for stopping by!
