Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas For Her AND Him (They Are Guaranteed To Love!)

I want to preface this post by saying if you’re not in a relationship… that’s OKAY and this post is still for you! Even if you have no one to gift, you can always treat yourself to something special. (Although I’m sure your bestie would love a gift…and you would win best friend of the year award!) Jesse and I actually don’t go over-the-top on Valentine’s Day. When we do get gifts, it’s something really small and cheesy. For as long as I can remember I’ve given him pajamas and he’s given me candy and an insane amount of fresh flowers (because truly that is one of my favorite things – year round!)

Even though we don’t do anything too crazy, I think it’s still nice to gift your loved one with something just to remind them that you’re thinking of them! (Not a bad idea to do on non-holiday days too ;))

For Him

Okay so I didn’t include a men’s robe because that was a very controversial idea… (if you saw my instastories, you know what’s up) BUT I did include some and pajamas. I get Jesse pajama pants every year and I always make sure they’re funky and embarassing (I thought the pizza slices would do the trick this year… provided he doesn’t read this post!) It’s fun because we kind of have a mark of every year together with his funky PJ pants and it’s cool to see how far we’ve come. The first pair I got him (in college) finally got a hole in them, but they lasted pretty well.

In addition, I love the idea of a hydroflask because it’s honestly my favorite purchase. It is one of the things I use most in my life (all day every day). It keeps your water so fresh, so crisp, and makes you want to drink more throughout the day. It’s got a leak proof lid so I love to throw it in my bag and take it everywhere with me. I’m sure anyone would love this gift.

Also, I love the little for the beer drinker in your life, and I especially love that this one is chic enough to keep out in the kitchen and not be an eyesore. In addition, I included a little skincare travel kit because if the dudes in your life are anything like mine, they are constantly stealing your face products.

A for the guy who works in a professional office setting, and a gym bag for any guy, really. Jesse has a similar bag and he loves it for quick weekend getaways. (If only I could pack that lightly).

LAST but not least is Le Labo’s Santal 33 which is the most amazing unisex scent… you might end up stealing it for yourself from time to time! It’s woodsy but light and refreshing and doesn’t give you that nasty fragrance headache.

For Her

My personal favorite Le Labo scent is Fleur d’Oranger, as I love things that smell floral without being too sweet. It’s honestly the best smell in the whole world and I’ve got my fingers crossed someone wants to gift it to me because it is quite the splurge.

Another idea is (of course) a Voluspa candle. I feel like candles are one of those things you don’t necessarily want to expense yourself, but love to have them in your house.

Also I’ve been eyeing Catbird jewelry for as long as I can remember and even went into the store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn last time I was in NYC! I didn’t pull the trigger, but I still love their stuff. This ring can be engraved with an intial, but I love it simple as is too.

A ROBE. YES. A ROBE. because they are the best invention ever, no matter what the dudes who follow me on instagram think. This one looks so fluffy and cozy and I love that it has a hood. I definitely want to curl up on the couch with a cup of tea in this robe.

In addition, I can’t get over how cute the little lip-print and unicorn print sweatsuits are. This is exactly the kind of thing I like to wear when lounging around the house. I think any lady would love either of these as a gift.

Gold pendant necklaces layered a million ways are super in style right now, and this is one of my personal favorites. It’s a repurposed Chanel button that’s made into a necklace. I love that it’s unique, has some history to it, and it also just looks so chic when layered with some other dainty gold jewelry.

For a little lingerie action, I think this lace cami set is perfect as it’s sexy yet practical enought to sleep in. I also am a grandma and love a good sleep mask and how adorable is this one with the pink stripes and the little travel case? Last, you can’t go wrong with some lipstick. My personal favorite shade in this formula is “Birthday Suit”… the perfect nude.
