This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Newport Beach. All opinions are 100% mine.
Well, it’s officially June, and that means if you haven’t already planned a summer getaway, now is the time to get to it! (Lord knows I need one!)
If you are considering heading to California, then you should strongly consider Newport Beach. I have a ton of expertise in regards to this city and I’m so glad I get to share this website with you guys ;)! First, check it out here. Yes you say, there are so many different beaches in California, why this one? Why not Malibu, Hermosa, Huntington? While all are amazing, I think Newport Beach has the perfect balance of laid-back beachiness and “SoCal sophistication”. You will find various features on the Visit Newport Beach website that will allow you to book hotel rooms, find good places to eat, and view maps of the surrounding areas. Many people like to try whale watching California whilst they are out here too!
Under “Things to do” you will find all kinds of attractions, sightseeing must-sees, shopping and more. I recommend a trip to Balboa Island. There are a ton of cute places to shop and eat. If you have kids, there are some really unique kids camp options where they can learn to surf, sail, canoe, and more! I mean come on, your kid has a grand ol’ time, learns something they can’t learn just anywhere…and you and the hubs get to actually relax. Many people like to try whale watching California whilst they are out here too!
If you’re overwhelmed by the decision of what hotel to stay at, The Hyatt Regency has a great promotion for families right now! Buy one room at full price, receive a connecting room for kids 18 and under at 50% off. The Hyatt Regency Newport Beach is a resort-style bayside destination on 26 acres and boasts 3-pools and whirlpools, shuffle board, ping pong, a 9-hole, par-3 golf course. (Call 800-233-1234 and mention the Family Plan to book today!)
If you were going to plan a trip to good ol’ NB, which activity would be on your must do/see list? Have you been to any California’s like Newport or have you been to Newport before?
And most importantly what is the biggest reason you need a vacation right now?
I know I need one due to the never ending to-do list. Can’t I just escape it for a week?
xoxo,
H
Awesome, I'm heading there in a few weeks!
I've been to NB once. It was for work, and I didn't get to do a whole lot, however I would suggest fashion island if you get the urge to shop. Also there's a really cute boardwalk area… I loved NB, it was so glam.
