I love the classic & retro feel of a skirt suit. It exudes elegance and professionalism at the same time – which I think are both important when dressing for the office. By investing in a classic black blazer, skirt, and pair of pants, your options are really endless as far as combinations go. I’ll admit it, I will wear the same black skirt twice in a week and style it a bit differently. It’s a great way to get bang for your buck.
I’m absolutely obsessed with the Kate Spade shoes. You’ve seen me wear my classic bow pumps from Forever21 on the blog a lot (here and here for example), but they are going to wear out soon and I know I’ll need a replacement. Now that I know how much I wear them, I think it’s worth an investment.
P.S. I didn’t go to NYFW but thanks to Glam.com and their Youtube channel I was able to check it out from afar! I especially love this video of all the trendy coats.
