I got my army green jacket forever ago from Old Navy and it’s turned out to be one of my favorite purchases and a solid addition to my closet.  In the spring I’ll wear it with a floral dress if it’s breezy outside and in the fall I love layering it over a casual outfit for some added warmth.  The army green color is pretty neutral so it goes with almost everything I own.  I have linked some of my favorite army green jackets around the web right now below — honestly, if you don’t have one in your closet I highly recommend getting one!
I wanted the main focus of this outfit to be my leopard Sanuk sneakers.  They are soooo comfortable and you almost feel barefoot when you’re wearing them.  I can’t wait for my next Disneyland trip because I will be wearing these sneakers with no questions asked.  I love that they come in leopard print because let’s face it – I can’t get enough leopard print.
On a  personal note, J and I spent the Thanksgiving holiday visiting his sister in Alabama and went to the Alabama/Auburn game.  Football in the south is so much more exciting because the fans are so passionate.  It was a great game and on top of that I loved getting a little taste of legitimate fall weather!  I made my family’s favorite Thanksgiving recipe – cheese grits!  Let me know if you guys have a unique dish you make on Thanksgiving in the comments – I’m always interested in other family’s traditions!
